This blog is dedicated to the journey of completing IRONMAN CANADA 2016 primarily with a yoga practice.  YYoga is supporting this endeavour and offers all types of yoga classes as well as spin & fitness classes.

Most IRONMAN training programs are 6 months. I will have 3 months to train (on the yoga mat) in order to complete 226kms (3.8km swim, a 180km bike and a 42.1km run) within the 17 hour cutoff.

This is both an experiment and exercise in practicing mindfulness and yoga.

Will yoga training be able to prepare and protect the body for an IRONMAN? Will mindfulness bring calm to the chaos?
